There is nothing like individuals who have recovered from eating disorders that go into the community for the purpose of helping others and spreading the message about the dangers of, for example, anorexia and bulimia.
Well, that’s exactly what Liana Rosenman and Kristina Saffran are doing, and because of their wonderful efforts, have been honored at Glamour Magazine’s ”Women of the Year” awards for their work with the organization “Project Heal.”
Both Liana and Kristina suffered from anorexia for years and are now using their experience to help others who are struggling from this dangerous — and potentially deadly — disease.
Thank you Liana and Kristina, for raising awareness about the deadly nature of eating disorders, motivating others to seek treatment, enter the recovery process and, ultimately, save lives. You are truly an inspiration to us all.
The article below discusses their efforts as a part of “Project Heal.”
